Located in the bustling streets of the North Laines district, young entrepreneur Ross Czolak of Prime focuses one half of his shop to his mens clothing and denim business including footwear and styles from the new J Shoes mens collection. The other half creates a focal point to his J Shoes boutique and offers a large selection of styles from the new J Shoes womens collection.

J Shoes backstage at the Shockwaves NME Awards...

The Shockwaves NME Awards 2009 took place at London's O2 Academy Brixton on February 25 and J Shoes we're one of a few cool brands who took part in this years NME Artists Retreat - a backstage mini shopping mall where stars of the show got their pick from our lovely new collections, we caught up with some old friends and also made some new ones! A 'Strong' performance by Mark

We caught up with one of our finest J Shoes ambassadors Mark Strong while he was in the UK last month for the film premier of “Rocknrolla” to sort him out some Balmoral and Royal Boots from our AW08 collection. Now he is back this time for the Premier of “Body of Lies”

Mark stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe in the action packed CIA, terrorist thriller “Body of Lies” directed by Ridley Scott. Mark plays Hani Salaam the head of a non extremist Muslim outfit that Roger (Leonardo DiCaprio) would rather put his trust in. We think Mark is nothing but brilliant in this role!

Mark has recently starred in great films such as Roman Polanski’s “Oliver Twist”, Mathew Vaughan’s “Stardust” alongside Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro, “Syriana” alongside George Clooney and in Guy Ritchie’s latest flick “Rocknrolla”.

With a host of premiers of his new films to attend including Vincent Amorim’s powerful drama “Good” with Viggo Mortensen, Mark Strong’s career is indeed going from strength to strength and we are proud to see him striding down the red carpet in his J Shoes.

In 2006, 80s pop icon Steve Strange was the unlikely star of Celebrity Scissorhands - wowing clients, audience and judges with his 'out there' creations - so much so he was promoted to assistant manager for last year's outing. This year, he's back again, free of managerial responsibilities and given free reign to go wild when he takes up the role of The Academy's image consultant.

Who better than J Shoes to team up with the style guru for this years show armed with some nifty footwear, Steve will look the picture of elegance. Steve picked Tudor and Balmoral from J Shoes AW08 collection to woo the viewers. But that’s not where it ends, lets see how he styles the guests that enter the academy... J Shoes get the Gossip

Gossip Girl teen queen Taylor Momsen (aka Jenny Humphrey) cruises to the studio in New York sporting a pair of black empire boots by J SHOES. The 15-year-old up-and-coming actress looks stylish and ready for her close-up! Gossip Girl is an American television teen drama which revolves around the lives of socialite young adults growing up on New York City’s Upper East Side who attend elite academic institutions while dealing with teenage issues.

Gossip Girl has become a fashion staple among today’s young culture. The second season premiere of Gossip Girl aired last week drawing 3.4 million viewers ages 18 to 34. Taylor will wear her J SHOES in a November episode. (more to come)

Primal Scream get suited and booted!

Primal Scream legends Mani and Martin Duffy took time out from their busy press schedule promoting their forthcoming album “Beautiful Future” to hang out with us.

Its a busy time for Primal Scream with their new single “Can’t Go Back’ paving the way for the hotly tipped “Beautiful Future” album and a busy summer tour of festivals leading to a full venue tour in November. The band have recently headlined one of the dates of the Melt Down festival curated by Massive Attack and are gearing up for their headline slot in the King Tuts Wah Wah tent at T In The Park.

Both Mani and Duffy have been fans of J Shoes and for a good few seasons now as testified by the state of Duffy’s well worn J’s . If shoes could speak I’m sure they could tell a story or two!

Their visit was a perfect opportunity to ensure the boys were kitted out for their forthcoming gigs. Mani opted for the stylish Royal and Kew, Duffy could not resist the Norton and Mojave.

Primal Scream’s new album “Beautiful Future” is released on July 21st, the single “Can’t Go Back” has already received a huge number of listens on Myspace.
